PRELIMINARY VALIDATION OF THERAPEUTIC TARGETS IN SKELETAL DISEASES

Objectives:

• To validate in cellular and animal models the pathways, circuits and cell functions predicted to be involved in skeletal disorders by mathematical and computational modelling.
• To compare molecules targeting specific functions on the basis of their effects on specific cellular pathways and biological processes involved in CSDs and RSDs.
• To develop and test useful reagents for transient or stable modification of the genome in order to modify the phenotype in cellular and animal models of skeletal disorders.
• To provide POP data for the development of potential therapeutic approaches to CSDs and RSDs.
